Time of Trouble Like Never Was

This morning I was reading from the Desire of Ages, chapter ‘Thy King Cometh.’ There is a paragraph that caught my attention. It describes Jesus as He stood upon the hillside looking down upon Jerusalem, crying for the woes coming upon them due to their rejection of Christ.

“He saw Jerusalem encompassed with armies, the besieged inhabitants driven to starvation and death, mothers feeding upon the dead bodies of their own children, and both parents and children snatching the last morsel of food from one another, natural affection being destroyed by the gnawing pangs of hunger.”

I thought of Ezek 9 which speaks of the slaughter of God’s children. I thought of 1 Cor 10:11 where Paul tells us the stories of the Old Testament were written as an example for those living at the end times. (That is now.)

Then I thought of Daniel 12:1 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”

There shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time…..

Many people are of the erroneous belief that Christians will be ‘secretly raptured’ out of the world before this time of trouble comes. This belief was brought into the church by the Jesuits to turn attention from the very clear identification of the antichrist system.

There is nothing biblical about a ‘secret’ rapture. In fact, how can it be secret when graves are being opened and those who slept in Christ will arise to join Him in the air. How can it be secret when there will be tens of thousands of angels accompanying Christ when He comes?

However, the error of the secret rapture doctrine is not the topic of this post. I have written about this topic in the past.

Today, I’m addressing the time of trouble. I’m addressing that with the planned and played events by those in power to reduce the population, we will indeed see such a time of trouble like never seen before.

There are several truth speakers who have been speaking out against the CV lies. It is not hard to find information from numerous credible professionals if one is willing to turn off the ‘mainstream media’ (MSM) and start researching and listening to other truth speakers.

Being a student of prophecy, I can see where this is leading.

The Bible is very clear that the ‘population reduction’ will take place. The ‘famine’ (lack of food) will take place. (The food shortages are being created by those in leadership for a specific purpose. If you control the food source, you will control the people.) Pestilences (again created by those in power) and death by a sword (sharp object of destruction) will take place. **If you study the word, you will see the definition of sword fits any sharp object of destruction, not necessarily a blade type object. We currently see this destruction being implemented by a ‘sharp object of destruction’ in the form of a needle.

The question for each person to ask is ‘Where will I stand?’

Will I be part of the masses who fall in line and do what I’m told? Or will I be a truth seeker who stands firm on God’s word, no matter the cost? Will I comply and compromise in order to keep a job? Send my children to school? Be able to shop, receive medical care, or go out to eat in a restaurant? (Remember, the Bible tells of a time when those who are walking after God’s truth will be unable to buy and sell.) Complying NOW, compromising NOW, sets up a precedence in the brain so that the future mandates will be easier to follow. (I’ve addressed brain pruning of beliefs here.)

One important fact to remember is for each of God’s truths, satan has a counterfeit. There is a true revival going on right now, a great awakening. Then there is a counterfeit one.

The counterfeit will be so alike the truth that only those who are walking in complete obedience to God’s word will be able to discern the difference. The counterfeit will be based on man’s traditions, rather than God’s truth.

The counterfeit awakening will be part of the world-wide movement that will lead to mandating Sunday worship. It sounds great to make sure everyone goes to church, but God NEVER forces. Never. Force, every mandate to make a person act against their conscience, is instigated by satan.

God is a God of love. Love gives free choice. Even though God knows what we will choose. Even though it hurts His heart to see us choosing wrong, yet He never forces. He never forces His will in your life. We must choose to surrender our will to His, so He can transform us to be the person He created us to be.

With the freedom of choice, we have the consequences to face. God is very clear on the consequences also. For each promise He has given us, there is a condition for that promise to be fulfilled. When we choose NOT to obey, God is clear on the results of that choice.

This upcoming time of trouble will be extremely difficult. Many who are walking in God’s truth now will be laid to rest as an act of mercy for the upcoming trials. (Isa 57:1-2) Paul addresses the sorrow believers will experience during this time. He gives words of comfort as he describes how those believers sleeping in their graves will arise when Christ comes. (1 Thess 4:16-18)

When our loved ones sleep in faith, we have no need to sorrow. Rather, we can rejoice that they will be spared the upcoming time of trouble.

Reader, I pray that you will seek to study God’s word like never before. That you will ask for strength to walk in obedience to His word. That you will stand firm upon ‘thus saith the word’ when temptation comes.

We are not to fear during this time, but to lean more heavily upon God’s spirit for strength. Keep before us the blessed hope of heaven. Trust God to provide for those who walk in His way.

Jesus tells us, ‘Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matt 7:13-14). He also tells us in the same chapter how to avoid the counterfeit: (Vs 15-23) “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Something to think about.
