Indoctrination Protection

For over one hundred years, the public school system has been used by those in power as an indoctrination programming venue. It is not hard to see that it starts on the first day of kindergarten when they teach children how to line up in a specific manner and to keep their hands to themselves. Each class, each grade is taught to conform to what they are taught, without asking questions. ‘Just do what you are told.’ Period. No if’s, and’s, or but’s.

Those in power consider the growing group of ‘awakened’ people a failure of the system.

I woke with this thought in mind.

I came through the public school system back in the 60/70s. Even though as I look back, I can see the ‘indoctrinating’ aspects, it was not as bad as it is now.

Everything is more obvious now with the common core and the gender pronoun debate (SMH), etc.

As I continued to think on this topic, another occurred to me.

One aspect of deception is that the deceived do not know they are being deceived. *I heard this on a radio program I was listening to while running errands the other day. I thought of how true it is.

Those who are fully indoctrinated do not know that they are indoctrinated. They do not know what they do not know.

My thinking continued….

How do we protect ourselves against this indoctrination?

By immersing ourselves in the truth.

This is how those trained to spot counterfeits do it. They study the truth in minute detail.

What is truth? Where do we find it?

Jesus, the Word, is truth. (John 14:6)

We find the ‘truth’ by reading God’s word. Jesus lived out the truth, the Word, in His life. He was the Word made flesh. (John 1:14)

Yet, just reading the truth will not do any good if we do not implement it. James 1:22 tells us that we have to be DOERS of the truth, rather than just hearers only. (Walking in obedience.)

If we are eating our spiritual food daily, and allowing it to transform us (Rom 12:1-2), then God’s word will provide a protective barrier to the world’s indoctrination programming.

As we ‘eat’ from God’s word, we cannot mix it with the ‘seasonings’ of the world. We cannot follow God and the world at the same time. (Matt 6:24)

Satan loves to mix truth and error in order to deceive. If we are not ‘eating’ from the straight truth alone, then we will be deceived. We cannot follow even the traditions of those in our churches if they are not supported 100% by Bible truth. We cannot take a verse or two out of context to support a belief that is contrary from a topic the Bible speaks clearly on. (For example: The state of the dead.)

There is a deeper part of this protection promise. I think of Ps 91. For all of God’s promises, there is a condition.

We must abide in Him. Meditate upon His word daily. We must be doers of the word, and not hearers only. We must walk in obedience if we are to know God.

God’s protective promises are fulfilled when we ‘eat’ of His word and allow it to transform us to fully reflect His character. God cannot break His own laws. The majority of the time, He will not alleviate the consequences of the choices we made when we walked in our own way, without regarding His will.

I pray that each reader will equip himself of this protective gear available through God’s word.

Something to think about.
