I just wanted to share another blog I have discovered on mental health issues. Alicia at http://www.mentalhealthnotes.com/ has a great blog. She writes on mental health issues just as I do, from a different perspective.
Right now Alicia is running a contest for a book called “They Can’t Find Anything Wrong”. Go over and check it out.
She has some really good information. We need all the writers we can get in the field of mental health. We can work together to break the stigma of mental illness.

Research indicates that half of all lifetime cases of mental illness begin by age 14, well before adulthood. Three new studies investigate the cognitive, genetic and environmental factors that may contribute to mental health disorders in adolescence. The studies are published in Psychological Science and Clinical Psychological Science, journals of the Association for Psychological Science. .
