Crying Aloud

Isaiah 58: 1 “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

We are to proclaim, without withholding, give the warning regarding the transgressions (sins) of the house of Jacob (the church).

Yesterday I unfriended a person on Facebook whose posts I normally read. Why? Because of the malicious attacking and name-calling (calling people deviled-possessed) for anyone who still participates as a member of a conference church. I will continue to do this with anyone who chooses to address the transgressions of the church in such an ungodly manner.

I’ve read of people calling those in the conference church part of the ‘antichrist’ also. Not only is this malicious, but it is in error also. The Bible is clear on the identification of the antichrist. When people are calling their own church the antichrist, not only is it playing into satan’s hands, but it paints an erroneous picture for those we are to be sharing God’s end-time message to. Stop playing into satan’s hands.

As children of God, we are to sound out a warning regarding any error done by those in the church. We are not to personally attack, degrade, or accuse them of being ‘devil-possessed’ or antichrist. This is not love.

1 Cor 13:4-8 “Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

[In case the reader does not understand what these words mean, here is the NIV.]

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

What I have seen happening recently among those who are to share the three angels’ message is NOT love. Satan is having a wonderful time laughing at those who think they are doing God a service. (John 16:2)

How did Christ point out error?

‘It is written….’

Even when Judas was about to portray Him, Jesus never resorted to name-calling and telling him he was ‘devil-possessed’ even though he was acting under the control of satan. Rather He continued to demonstrate love to him.

I will admit there are some wrong things happening in God’s church. We know that. We see it happening week after week. But the vicious attacking is not correcting the error. Rather, it helps to tear down and destroy.

That’s what hate does. Hate destroys. And this is hate.

It is not love by any stretch of imagination.

1 John 4: 6-8, 11-12, 17-21 “We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

Rom 13:10 “Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”

The rest of the chapter needs to be read also. Put on the armor of light. Do not cause strife.

We love God because He first loved us. We are to love each other in the same way. He who is without sin cast the first stone. None of us are sinless right now. [How are we dying to self so Christ’s love can be lived through us when we are calling members of our ‘family’ such horrible names?]

1 Peter 4 offers wise counsel. Love covers a multitude of sin.

While spewing such hateful words, the spirit of God does not abide in a person.

Without love, without godly fellowship, the latter rain will not fall. Without the latter rain, the loud cry cannot go out.

I’ve attended many churches since returning to the south in 2015. I’ve seen a lot of discord. I’ve not seen a lot of love demonstrated. Without love, one cannot have relationship. Without relationship, one cannot have unity.

I can guarantee that the best way to destroy a house is to demonstrate hate within the walls.

Mark 3: 24-25 “And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”

While satan is laughing himself silly over the discord and fighting within the walls of God’s church, those outside will never wish to join in with God’s people? Why? Because there is no love being demonstrated.

With all the arguing over this point and that, we have left off sharing God’s end-time message. Oh, how happy satan is regarding this. The longer we fight amongst ourselves, the more people are dying without the truth.

Until there is unity among God’s people, those whom we are to be giving God’s call to come out of Babylon will never leave Babylon. Why would they? What do we have to offer that is better than what they have now?

Yes, wrongs need to be pointed out. In love rather than hate. When we, as a unit, begin to live God’s love in action, then there will be an outpouring of God’s power like never before so the work can be finished.

Until then, satan will continue laughing himself silly over the DISUNITY he is causing over matters that are not relevant to salvation. Let’s focus on living God’s love in action. Let’s show, ‘It is written’ as we are living it. Let’s live out Isaiah 58: 6-14. God’s end-time message is to go out to all the world. No one will come out of Babylon to join with a group of people who cannot live love in action. I can promise you that.

People do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care.

Something to think about.
