Stop Asking, “What’s Wrong With My Child?”

I’ve heard it many times: ‘What’s wrong with my child?’

Instead of asking this, perhaps we need to ask, ‘What is my child trying to tell me?’

Behavior is communication. Even bad behavior.

As always, I start with diet.

A whole-food, plant-based diet is best. (This doesn’t necessarily mean vegan, but it does mean relying heavily on plants.)

Remove the things that create leaky gut. (More information on my SKool page, Living Ready Collective.) This includes any manmade chemicals.

Detox, detox, detox.

Supplement for nutritional deficiencies.

Re-inoculate for a healthy gut biome.

If there’s been some type of trauma, I recommend sand tray therapy to help process the emotions they may not be able to express.

Set a few set rules with clear-cut consequences. Be consistent.

Most health professionals focus on covering up symptoms rather than finding the underlying cause. I help parents play detective and discover those underlying causes.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is how often a nutritional deficiency or a food/chemical sensitivity can cause behavior and learning challenges.

Outside of nutritional deficiencies and food/chemical sensitivities, another subject to look at would be parasites.

In my years of studying the links between food and behavior, I’ve learned that parasites can cause all types of behavior and learning challenges. This is a topic that many parents do not want to consider.

In today’s world, we cannot avoid parasites. These microbes can come in many forms. 70% are not visible to the naked eye.

When one has parasites, behavior can be affected by the full/new moon cycles or even solar activity. I have a training on this topic on my Skool page, Living Ready Collective.

Rather than taking a negative mindset, ‘Something is wrong with my child,’ choose to become a detective. What are they trying to tell you?

Is it easy to decode the message? No, but the results are well worth the effort.

Take it from a mom who walked that pathway many years ago. I promise that if we seek God’s wisdom and discernment and are willing to do whatever it takes, our children will benefit in ways we never imagined.

I would love to walk alongside you on your journey to help your child to become all that God created him/her to be. Feel free to contact me through this website..
